Jagex that will bring RuneScape to tablets later in the year

According to a post on reddit, Studio X has been developing Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore "for several years". The first developer-led videos were released for the game in 2019. From April 2021 onwards, there has been a dispute and first tests of external players.

Developer Jagex has joined forces with the maker of board games Steamforged Games to release not only one, but two tabletop games in the year of 2022.

Steamforged Games' collaboration with Jagex is the latest in a long string of collaborations that bring some of the most popular gaming franchises into a tabletop setting. The tabletop gaming powerhouse has previously developed board games that are based on games such as Monster Hunter World and Dark Souls and, most recently, completed a massively successful Kickstarter campaign for a Resident Evil 2 board game that raised more than 1 million GBP in the first quarter of this year.

Now, the company has set its sights on Gielinor's world and RuneScape and plans to launch both a board game as well as an RPG core book that can be played on tabletops this year. The two RPG adaptations will have many of the most popular characters and places, allowing groups of up to runescape 07 gold five players to compete against classic quests in RuneScape and bring the adventure within Gielinor to life.
