The sixth episode of Nine Perfect Strangers demonstrated that recovery isn’t always straight, and Masha’s (Nicole Kidman) methods may not be working for everyone at her retreat. It was the first episode to mention suicidal thoughts and mental health triggers. The following stage of her treatment takes a concerning turn as she boosts their doses again further. But some of the revelations gutted our emotions. This week’s episode sees Zoe (Grace Van Patten) hallucinating her dead brother Zach (Hal Cumpston). Meanwhile, Tony (Bobby Cannavale) and Frances (Melissa McCarthy) have provided a more enjoyable plot. I hope they go on a real date when they leave because they both sparkle now. Masha is attempting to communicate with the inner child. Who is Masha’s childhood memory? The ending scene implies the child has died.

With only two episodes left, The final two episodes will reveal what happens to Masha and the Marconis, but the resort is in a tense state. Will everyone feel entire and healed when they leave Tranquillum? There are a lot of exciting and overlapping threads that are still being explored, and we can’t wait to see where they lead us in the next episode.
