They are remaking base PSO2 visuals anyhow

Excellent FAQ, answers a whole lot of PSO2 Meseta my first doubts. Gosh, this looks so complicated. On the 1 hand, kudos for keeping the original game intact so that there won't be a riot over fluctuations people don't like. However on the other hand, since they are remaking base PSO2 visuals anyhow, I wish they would just go 100 percent and synchronize character models entirely. Giving old players some free style items and unlocks will be enough to bribe everyone to take the new system.

Synchronizing 100% personality models does not sound simple. The dilemma is that the old outfits and coating use are modeled to fit the older pso2 body. That's unlikely to happen. Well, I mean that I would be ready to drop a certain proportion of the makeup to keep things intact around versions. Provided that there's a steady feed of cool new things to replace it, I do not mind. I always rotate out my old appearances anyway. Provided that the character models translate 1:1 it will still feel just like mine.

The instance I can think of is that the Monster Hunter Frontier Z collaboration where I could envision the clothes and weapons could definitely be given a visual update together with everything else but that I do not exactly know how the licensing or how the legal side of this collaboration functions where I would wish it had been as easy as Sega going through and updating the resources but I do not know about just how much Capcom is involved in this procedure.

The same applies to collaborations such as the Final Fantasy XIV cooperation with Odin (which still exists as far as I know) where I don't know how much of Square Enix is involved that for Sega to have the ability to upgrade assets . If it was only just Phantasy Star-related items (such as character outfits, cameos from other games, or alternative Sega-related possessions ) I could envision that this likely would have been done, or would be carried out. But from the worldwide variant we already don't have the presence of Cougar NX therefore that I don't know if there are additional issues seeing Sega's properties that might also contribute not upgrading everything they could within reason.

I can envision that probably out there we will still see someone wearing those old collaboration things even if they are not rigged up to the same criteria as fresh cosmetics in a similar way and that there would have been outrage if it was made obsolete or unusable. Collabs who have experienced their cosmetics removed nevertheless have their assets exist on the game so those will likely still be accessible for cheap meseta pso2 jp players.
